Beau Askew is a Songwriter & Drummer from California. Growing up amongst the pine trees of the Sierra Foothills, poetry was one of his earliest forms of artistic expression. Beau's songs evoke a variety of emotions as the musical journey encompasses a multitude of experiences. Driven by the desire to share a message of love, harmony and optimism, his music uplifts his audiences through an eclectic collection of songs. Primarily an Indie-Folk artist, Beau's intimate vocal timbre and acoustic accompaniment will pull you in and leave you feeling refreshed and inspired.
After graduating high school, Beau began his career as a performer. He has toured nationally and shared stages with artists such as John Butler Trio, Trevor Hall, and Michael Franti. Whether performing at large amphitheaters, music festivals or corporate events, Beau's passion for music and desire to connect with his audience is apparent. He is currently booking solo and with his band. His band has worked together for close to a decade.
